Day Outings

Conference Day Outings

(In March you will be told how to select your choices for the below day outings).

Port River Dolphin Cruise - Cost $30 per person

We invite you to join us on a Port River Dolphin Cruise as we travel along the historic Port River on one of our many Dolphin Cruises. On return you can visit one of the 8 museums that Port Adelaide houses such as the Aviation, Railway and Maritime Museum or just meander along the Wharf and have an ice-cream.

(Note - does not include lunch).

McLaren Vale Wine Region Tour - 18+ only - Cost $70 per person

Join us on one of two tours of the McLaren Vale wine region. McLaren Vale is best known for their Shiraz varieties and houses some of the world’s oldest grape vines. Sample some of the best wines in the world while enjoying the beautiful scenery that McLaren Vale has to offer.

(Note – includes tastings, then tour will drop patrons in the McLaren Vale main street for a wander and lunch can be bought there).

Cleland Wildlife Park - Cost $40 per adult, $30 per child, max $100 per family

(This is the suggested option for young people)

Visit Cleland Wildlife Park and feed kangaroos as they laze, wander wetlands, and surround yourself with over 130 species of Australian wildlife, all just 20 minutes from Adelaide. Cleland Wildlife Park is one of only a few places in the world where visitors can hold a koala. Many animals are free-roaming in the 35-hectare park, creating wonderful impromptu opportunities to touch and interact with our native wildlife. Personal encounters with South Australian wildlife, combined with a licensed café and souvenir shop, ensure that Cleland has something for everyone.

(Note - lunch can be purchased from the cafe there or brought in).

Adelaide City - Cost free

Train it to the city and explore all Adelaide has to offer. Wander the historic streets of Adelaide, visit the Adelaide Central Market which is a bustling destination for fresh produce and local shops, The Adelaide Botanic Gardens which is home to exotic plants, conservatories and cafes, The Adelaide Museum or Adelaide Zoo all which are located within short walking distance to one another. Book ahead to experience a Roof climb at the Adelaide oval or even a Plants of the bible tour in the Botanic Gardens. The train will take you to the heart of the city for a day of exploring at your own pace.

(Note - does not include train ticket or lunch).
